The print after a painting by Bellotto himself represents the Frauenkirche in Dresden, looking east from the Alte Wache. In the center background the Rampische Gasse leads down to the Kurländer Palais. The view of the urban street in the print is slightly lower than that in the painting, exposing more of the lantern of the church.
